All in one computers - a monitor and a computer in one
All in one computers.
All-in-one (AIO) computers are a complete PC (Personal computer) system that consists of the monitor and system as a single unit. The AIO saves space while offering a fully functioning desktop PC system consisting of all the ports on the actual unit, usually at the back of the monitor.
AIO has limited upgrade capabilities, usually just the hard drive and memory. The other components are not upgrade-able (graphics card for example). The upgrade may need to be done by a qualified technician as the AIO requires disassembly.
The benefit of an AIO is space saving compact design, while offering a much larger screen and lower cost than a laptop.
Recommended upgrades to improve AIO system performance:
Even through AIO have been manufactured to offer a good overall experience for office and front-desk users, power users might need a performance boost. Purchasing a better specification system from the start is always the best choice. We strongly recommend at least 4GB RAM (memory).
Hard drives are usually low rotation drives to save on build costs and running costs (electricity usage), upgrade to a Hybrid or SSD for better performance and still retain the power savings.
Memory: Upgrade to a minimum of 8GB for better performance.
